A banda americana Immortal Guardian, um dos maiores expoentes da nova geração do heavy-power-prog metal, capitaneada pelo brasileiro Carlos Zema (ex-Heaven’s Guardian), aproveitou a pandemia para colocar as mãos na massa. Com uma nova formação que traz além de Zema (vocais) e Gabriel Guardian (guitarra/teclados), chegam ao time Joshua Lopez (baixo) e Justin Piedimonte (bateria), apresentando o que está sendo considerada a melhor formação da banda, que foi formada em 2008, radicada no Texas/EUA.
Antes do primeiro álbum cheio, a Immortal Guardian lançou 2 EP’s. “Super Metal” foi lançado em 2012, sendo relançado no ano seguinte, sob o nome “Super Metal: Editon Z”, já com Carlos Zema nos vocais. “Revolution, Part I” foi lançado em 2014. Nas mãos de Roy Z a banda entrou em estúdio para produzir seu álbum de estreia “Age of Revolution”, via M-Theory Audio, em 2018.
Agora, o quarteto se prepara para lançar seu segundo álbum cheio Psychosomatic, com 10 faixas, previsto para 12 de fevereiro de 2021 e acaba de lançar o single “Read Between the Lines” para promover o lançamento.
