Os thrashers da Bay Area recém reunidos Defiance, anunciaram via Facebook, o lançamento de um box contendo um CD duplo das demos gravadas entre 1986 e 1994. “Checkmate: the Demo Collection” estará disponível a partir de 27 de novembro, via Vic Records.
Além das demos o Defiance possui em sua discografia 4 álbuns de estúdio: “Product Of Society” (1989), “Void Terra Firma” (1990), “Beyond Recognition” (1992) e “The Profecy” (2009).
A banda havia se separado em 1995, retornaram em 2005 e novamente se separaram em 2012, em setembro de 2019 se reuniram outra vez.
Além disso a banda revelou que tem trabalhado no seu próximo álbum e planejam entrar em estúdio no início de 2021
