Literalmente, por demanda popular – com mais da metade das datas da turnê então completamente esgotada ou um perto disso – hoje Slayer anuncia a etapa dois na América do Norte, de sua turnê mundial final, que começará na quinta-feira, 26 de julho, no Banco de New Hampshire Pavilion em Gilford, NH. A turnê viajará para 20 cidades em cerca de cinco semanas, culminando em San Jose, CA’s SAP Center em 26 de agosto. Lamb of God, Anthrax, Testament e Napalm Death acompanharão a banda em todas as datas. O ingresso geral para a maioria das datas começa nesta sexta-feira, 9 de março, às 10h (local). A segunda etapa norte-americana para esta turnê foi, à princípio, considerada como desnecessária, mas dentro de 48 horas da venda ingressos inicial no dia de 26 de janeiro, isso tudo mudou.
“Ficamos impressionados com a velocidade de vendas para a turnê final”, disse Rick Franks, presidente da Touring for Live Nation, um dos promotores da turnê. “Trinta e seis anos depois e Slayer é maior do que nunca”.
Em 22 de janeiro de 2018, Slayer anunciou que faria uma última turnê de shows em todo o mundo para agradecer aos seus fãs por todo o seu apoio ao longo dos anos, por fazer as últimas três décadas e meia tão cheias de bons tempos e experiências inesquecíveis, e depois seguirão em frente.
