A sequência de “And Justice For None” de 2018 encerrou um período turbulento para a banda, no qual o vocalista Ivan Moody finalmente ficou sóbrio após uma luta quase fatal contra o vício, enquanto o baterista co-fundador Jeremy Spencer se retirou da banda devido a problemas físicos.
